This statement sets out Top Tubes’ actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. Top Tubes is a steel manufacturing company operating in the UK; our activities fall into five areas: the steel slitting division, called Zodiac, the welded tube division, the tube slotting division, called Metallex, the laser tube processing division and the tube bending and manipulation division.
The organisation is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities, ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
We acknowledge that slavery and human trafficking takes place globally but as a company we are aware of our responsibilities to comply with legislation relating to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. However, the company does not consider that its activities are high risk in relation to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
Top Tubes have planned assessment methods for utilising and re-evaluating suppliers on a periodic basis. This is in accordance with our supplier evaluation process QP8 utilised by purchasing Managers.
Company policies and procedures are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure compliance and ethical standards of working. The company would ensure that thorough investigations would be undertaken should there be any suspicion of slavery or human trafficking within its organisation or supply chain.
